Wabasha County Commissioners recently approved the preliminary plat request by Brent Beck for ‘Cornerstone Ridge,’ a housing subdivision in Mazeppa Township.
Beck, representing Cornerstone Real Estate, submitted a preliminary plat application in February.
Parcels total about 109 acres in the Agricultural/Urban Fringe District.
The County Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on March 24 and voted 5-0 in recommending that the proposed preliminary plat of Cornerstone Ridge be approved.
According to the Plainview News, several people spoke during the County Board’s public forum on June 3 in opposition to the preliminary plat request.
