The 2025 budget and levy for the City of Red Wing are now set.
 A 6-1 majority of City Council members voted in favor of the levy on Monday night and Mayor Wilson signed his approval.
The 2025 property tax levy represents a 6% increase over 2024.
 While the levy increased, an average-value home in Red Wing will actually see a slight decrease (-$6) in their property taxes due to shifts in the tax base.
The lone no vote was Ron Goggin, who has been working for lower taxes and much less spending.
