Cannon Falls McDonald’s Fire

Crews battled a significant fire at a McDonald’s in Cannon Falls on Wednesday morning.

First responders were originally dispatched to a dumpster fire.

However, upon arrival, they observed flames coming from the restaurant itself.

Firefighters started their efforts on the south side of the building, near a garage area, and then moved up to the roof.

They remained on the scene for nearly three hours, monitoring hotspots to fully extinguish the fire.

 Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The state fire marshal is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
