Red Wing Public Schools reminds students and parents registration for AP exam is open until Friday, November 1.
Each advanced placement test is optional when taking an AP course.
Scores on an AP test can earn college credit or advanced placement, depending on each postsecondary institution's credit policy.
A few AP classes are also concurrent enrollment with Minnesota State College Southeast.
The cost is $55 per exam. If you qualify for Education Benefits, that fee is waived. Students may contact the high school office for more information.
According to the College Board schedule, the 2025 AP Exams will be administered in schools over two weeks: May 5–9 and May 12–16.
All AP tests have moved to digital this year and will be taken on Chromebooks; a few are hybrid with part of the test digital and part print.
