The 54th Annual Corn on the Cob Days celebration in Plainview is nearly here.
The festival kicks off Wednesday, August 14th and runs through Sunday the 18th.
Plainview Mayor, Aaron Luckstein, says the event includes great food, live music, vendors, and entertainment. Luckstein says Saturday is big day featuring a 5K and 1 mile run/walk, golf tournament, a Fun Fest (sponsored by People’s State Bank) and more.
Luckstein says Saturday the 17th at 1 pm in front of the American Legion, it’s the special Greenwood Prairie Classic Iron Club Tractor Games.
Some of Sunday the 18th’s highlights include enjoying all the corn on the cob that you can eat served from 11 am-3 pm. The Grande Parade kicks off around 1:30 pm.
