4-H Senior Dairy Judging at State Fair

This year, 78 individual members and 18 4-H teams participated in the senior Dairy competition at the Minnesota State Fair.

Fillmore County placed first with a total of 1246 points.  Dakota County placed second with 1239 total points. The team from Winona County finished in third with 1234 total points.

The Plainview News reports Wabasha County took fourth place with 1232 points and Rice/Le Sueur County finished in fifth with 1226 points.

Monika Frericks of Stearns County took home the high individual honors with 437 points. Blake Siewert of Wabasha County placed second with 436 points. 

Natalie Clemenson of Goodhue County placed third overall.

The top individual in reasons, Blake Siewert from Wabasha County was third. 

The top individual in placings was Monika Frericks from Stearns County, Blake Siewert from Wabasha County took second and in third was Garrett Pearson from Goodhue County, all three scored 294 points.

All ties were broken with tie breakers.
