3M is eliminating 600 Minnesota jobs as part of a reorganization, including about 600 employees in Minnesota, mostly in Maplewood, including corporate jobs.
The Maplewood-based corporation announced the reorganization yesterday, which will cut 6,000 jobs company wide.
The company says the new cuts are in addition to the elimination of about 2,500 manufacturing jobs in January.
The combined cuts reduce the company's workforce by about ten-percent.
