The Alzheimer’s Association is inviting Red Wing area residents to participate in its Walk to End Alzheimer’s-River Cities on Saturday, September 16th, at Colvill Park.
Barbara Parker says there are several different colors of Promise Flowers representing the diverse motivations of the Walkers and there will be a lot going on that morning.
Parker says unique to other walks, there will be a special silent auction Saturday morning and people can check out the fantastic items up for bidding online. Parker says the name change to River Cities Walk was intentional, because it includes surrounding communities not just Red Wing, including, Hastings, Lake City, and Cannon Falls.
All funds raised through Walk to End Alzheimer's further the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. The goal this year is to raise $70,000.
Check-in on Saturday is at 9:00 am, the opening ceremony at 10:00 a.m. with the Walk beginning at 10:20 a.m.
Registration is free.

Within three weeks of using the AKANNI HERBAL Alzheimer's disease natural herbal formula, his symptoms…
