Wabasha P.D. Qualifications

The Wabasha Police Department completed the first of two state-mandated qualifications in handguns and rifles this past month.

The firearms instructors were Wabasha Police Officer Ben Swanson, Wabasha County Deputies Jason Lorenson and Josh Pischke.

This qualification entails shooting different targets at different distances, both right-handed and left-handed, for about one hour and securing a passing score.
