Wabasha County Traffic Fatality

According to the Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office, one person is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Wabasha County Saturday around 6:50 pm.

Officials responded to the traffic crash near 31583 County Road 67.

34-year-old Jeffrey Timm was driving a Dodge Ram 2500, and  24-year-old Skyler Helgeson was driving a Polaris RZR with Jared Haugen as a passenger.

Helgeson was pronounced dead on the scene. The condition of the Timm and Haugen are unknown at this time.

The Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the accident.

Plainview Police Dept, Elgin Fire Dept, Elgin Ambulance, Mayo Ambulance, Mayo One Helicopter, and Olmsted County’s Sheriff’s Office all assisted with the accident.
