Wabasha Co Sheriff's Office Hiring and Retention

A problem law enforcement is facing across the country is facing is hiring enough officers and keeping the ones they have.

Detective Luke Fratzke of the Wabasha County Sheriff's Office says the issues that law enforcement are facing now have changed a lot. 

Detective Fratzke says it’s tough recruiting new officers and can be complicated keeping them for several reasons, including pay, benefits, and being in a smaller town.
