Wabasha County Commissioners on June 11 approved the final plat of ‘Wolf Acres,’ as submitted by Bradley Schultz for a land division involving the creation of more than three new and residual parcels near Kellogg in Glasgow Township.

According to the Plainview News, Schultz submitted a final plat application on April 18. He said the parcels, zoned A-1 (Agricultural Protection District) will include 40, 174.40, 140, 100, and 40 acres, respectively.Â

The County Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on May 28 and voted 5-0 in recommending that the final plat of ‘Wolf Acres’ be approved as presented.

In other business, they accepted and awarded a bid to Fitzgerald Excavating and Trucking, of Goodhue, to improve sight distance at the northwest corner of the intersection of Minnesota Highway 60 and Wabasha County Highway 4.

The project cost of $212,443 is planned to be funded by a Local Partnership Program grant from the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT).
