USA Today Best Readers Choice Cheese Curd Festival

Ellsworth is enjoying some national attention after making the Top 10 Best Specialty Food Festival.

USA Today 10 Best Readers Choice 2023 Awards list has the Cheese Curd Festival at #10 in the entire country.

Thousands of pounds of curds made by the local Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery are served at the occasion each June. Events include a craft beer and curd pairing, live music and a craft market. It's a celebration of all dairy products, with ice cream tastings being especially popular.

Some of the other cities listed include Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, Honolulu, and Pittsburgh.
