The United Way of Goodhue, Wabasha, & Pierce (UWGWP) Counties is pleased to announce that Nicolle Mechelke has been selected as Executive Director.
Her first day will be June 5th.
Long time Executive Director Maureen Nelson is retiring from her position as of June 30th so there is a smooth transition.
Most recently, Nicolle was with Hennepin County as a Program Manager, leading a new program aimed at increasing homeownership.
She holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from St. Catherine University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Nicolle also serves as an At-large Board Member for Leaders of Today and Tomorrow in Saint Paul and as an Advisory Committee Member for the Capital Improvement Program Advisory Committee in Ramsey County.
In her spare time, Nicolle likes to be active in the outdoors and spend time with family and friends.
