The Timberwolves take on the worst team in the NBA when they visit the Detroit Pistons at Little Caesars Arena tonight. The Wolves have won three of their last four games after beating the Los Angeles Clippers 109-105 on Sunday. Minnesota is in first place in the Western Conference at 28-and-11. Tonight's game tips off at 6:00PM.


The Wild are getting ready for their three-game road trip. Minnesota begins the trip with a game against the Tampa Bay Lightning tomorrow night. Minnesota just snapped a four-game losing streak by shutting out the New York Islanders 5-0 on Monday. The Wild remain in seventh place in the Central Division with 41 points and an 18-20-and-5 record. Tomorrow's contest starts at 6:00PM.


The Vikings are adding to their offseason roster. The team signed wide receiver Daylen Baldwin to a futures contract yesterday. Baldwin was on Minnesota's practice squad for a short time during the 2023 season.


The Packers are dealing with some injuries. The team released an estimated practice report yesterday and Jaire Alexander, Kenny Clark and Christian Watson were limited. AJ Dillon, Elgton Jenkins and Preston Smith were several who would have missed practice if it were held. Green Bay squares off against the 49ers in Santa Clara for the Divisional round on Saturday night.


The Bucks are back on the hardwood tonight. The team tips off against the Cavaliers in Cleveland. Milwaukee is coming off an overtime win against the Kings where Damian Lillard nailed a buzzer-beating three to seal the victory. In other news, Jae Crowder is expected to return tonight after recovering from core muscle surgery. Milwaukee is first in the Central Division at 28-and-12.


Number-8 Wisconsin is now 13-and-4 on the college basketball season after an 87-83 loss to Penn State. The Badgers host Indiana on Friday night. Elsewhere, the Milwaukee Panthers are 9-and-8 and visit Northern Kentucky tomorrow night. Number-18 Marquette is 12-and-5 and visits St. John's on Saturday.
