Special Olympics Flame of Hope

The Flame of Hope is coming through Red Wing next week. 

As part of the road to the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games, the Law Enforcement Torch Run will travel through 12 communities across Minnesota, including Red Wing, helping build excitement, awareness, and support for athletes from across the country. 

The community is encouraged to show up Thursday, June 18 in Central Park at 4 pm for inclusion, community, and the athletes carrying the Flame of Hope across Minnesota.

This incredible event brings together law enforcement officers, athletes, and communities in celebration of inclusion, determination, and the power of sport.

The 2026 USA Games will welcome more than 3,000 athletes from all 50 states to Minnesota this June.
