There will be fireworks after all for Red Wing residents who missed out on fireworks on the Fourth of July.
During the 40th Annual River City Days you are invited to Bay Point Park for a fireworks show around dusk on Saturday, August 5th.
Come to the park earlier and enjoy live music by The Local Hooligans followed by Elton Rohn, one of the best Elton John tribute shows you will ever see!
The fireworks will be shot off from the Wisconsin side of the river and viewable from Bay Point Park, Levee Park, and many other areas.
In the event of inclement weather, the show will take place on Sunday, August 6th.
The Mississippi Alumination volunteer group that traditionally puts on the annual 4th of July fireworks show in Red Wing announced it wasn’t doing that this year. According to the group, the main reason being lack of volunteers and funding.
