Red Wing Water Utility Department Maintenance

The City of Red Wing Water Utility Department will be performing maintenance of the drinking water distribution system in the area of the Pioneer Road Reservoir, beginning Tuesday, May 27th and concluding by Tuesday, June 10th.

Water system users in the Pioneer Road Reservoir area may notice pressure changes but water service will not be interrupted.

Areas affected include areas above the Pioneer Road Pumping Station on Hennings Ave, Hennings and Hi Park Avenue areas, Hallquist, Sunny Meadow and Pine Ridge areas, and the Red Wing High School area.

The work includes rehabilitation and repairs of the Pioneer Reservoir.

Residents and businesses in this area may notice slight pressure changes while this work is being performed.

Water service will not be interrupted during this work, and water use can continue as normal.

There may be increased activity at the Pioneer Road Pumping Station (Pioneer and Hennings) and the Pioneer Reservoir on Malmquist.
