Red Wing Red Cross Blood Drives

The American Red Cross is urging people to donate blood or platelets as summer shortages grow more likely.

Severe weather and vacation schedules often lead to fewer appointments, especially for type O blood, which is in high demand.

Red Wing residents will have several opportunities this month.

Thursday, Elks Lodge #845 is hosting a blood drive from 8:30 am- 2:30 pm.

You can donate blood Wednesday, July 16^th from 9 am – 7 pm at the Vasa Lutheran Center.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on Thursday, July 17^th from noon to 6 pm.

The Red Wing YMCA will be collecting blood Wednesday, July 23^rd from 10 am – 4 pm.
