Red Wing Public Schools Student School Board
Red Wing Public Schools will soon have a Student School Board. This board will include representatives in grades 7-12 and will meet once a month during the school day for about 60 minutes. The purpose this to help students:
Learn how the school district operates, is managed, and is governed.
Provide insight and feedback to the School Board and administration on issues facing the district.
Develop leadership and problem-solving skills that can be applied to challenges facing their school.
Work with their building administration, staff and other students to address these challenges.
Students will find the application via the RWHS Student Newsletter. Applications are due February 11.
