Red Wing Flood Closures

As the Mississippi River continues to rise, here's the latest update on park and road closures from the City of Red Wing

• Vehicle access to Bay Point Park is now closed. The Bay Point Marina gas dock is also closed.

• Levee Road will be closed to vehicle traffic as of today.

• East Fifth Street is now closed near the railroad track underpass.

Motorists should never drive through floodwaters or around road barricades or signage. 

• Levee Park – The parking lot is closed as of Friday, June 21. The rest of the park was already closed due to continued flooding.
  

• East Fifth Street – The road is closed at the railroad underpass (just past the parking lot for He Mni Can-Barn Bluff).  This road closure will close the Wastewater Treatment Plant/City Lab to the public until future notice.
  

• Colvill Park – The park entrance is closed at the highway underpass. Xcel Energy has de-energized the park. The park closure includes the closure of the Red Wing Water Park.
