The Red Wing City Council will hold their Annual Workshop in Council Chambers Friday at noon.
The agenda includes the City Department Heads and Officers providing a brief overview of accomplishments from the previous year.
The previous Council requested a presentation on employee benefits to better understand the benefits offered, the rationale behind the benefits, and the importance of the package to recruit and retain employees.
The Council will also get a Rental Housing Code Compliance Update. The purpose of this discussion is to review the Rental Housing Code inspection status and discuss efforts for compliance.
Additionally, staff will present recommended changes to current code provisions.
The workshop wraps up with a Police Department Facility Discussion. Staff will present a progress report to the City Council. Additionally, BKV, the consultant responsible for cost estimation, will provide insights on the next steps, associated costs, and projected operating expenses for the facility.
