Plainview Red Cross Blood Drive

Community member are encouraged to roll up their sleeves and donate during an American Red Cross Blood Drive is scheduled for 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 25 at  Immanuel Lutheran Church, 45 W. Broadway Ave. in Plainview.

The Plainview News reports the Red Cross has paired up with PAC-MAN to offer free one-size  fits all socks to anyone who presents to donate.

They will also offer hemoglobin A1C (A1C) testing, commonly used to screen for pre-diabetes and diabetes, to all donors who successfully give blood.
