The community is invited to the Plainview Community Theater’s production of ‘Microphones and Mayhem’ next week.
The production runs from Monday, October 6 through Saturday, October 11 at Atelier@1901, 328 W. Broadway Ave. in Plainview. Show times are 7 pm with the exception of the mattinee on Saturday, October 11th at 1 pm.
The play is adapted and directed by Taylor Pike, the new Executive Director for PCT.
Set in 1945, and featuring some of Plainview's very own historic past, this hour-long performance will have you laughing.
According to the Plainview News, the plot involves a production a local radio station is getting ready to perform, a spooky radio play, perfect for the Halloween season.
With the introduction of a ‘guest star’ for the performance, the stations regulars are sent into a tizzy as they try to steal back the spotlight and keep their jobs.
Tickets are $16.78, which includes fees.
