An American Red Cross blood drive is scheduled for 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19 at American Legion Post 179, 215 3rd St. SW in Plainview.
The Red Cross continues to work to re-stock critically needed blood products uncollected due to the ongoing impact of Hurricane Helene’s devastation in the Southeast.
The storm and its aftermath led to the cancellation of more than 100 blood drives, causing thousands of blood and platelet donations to go uncollected.
Please download the American Red Cross Blood Donor app, call 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767), or visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter: plainviewmn to schedule an appointment.Â
The Plainview News reports those who come to give blood will receive two pairs of custom FRIENDS + Red Cross socks until supplies run out.
