PEM Foundation Swim Night

Despite the stormy weather on July 23rd, a Community Swim Night at Plainview’s swimming pool, hosted by the Plainview-Elgin-Millville Foundation, was a big hit.

The event and fundraiser featured ice cream, prize raffles and music provided by WPVW radio.

The dunk tank proved to be popular, with four intrepid women getting soaked and raising money to raise awareness of the Foundation and help fund season pool passes for families living in the PEM School District.

A total of $5,000 was raised on an evening which turned out to be pretty nice.

Plainview-Elgin-Millville Foundation provides support to projects that improve the quality of life and build a stronger sense of community in the PEM area.
