PEM Community Education

Summer is nearly here and kids in the PEM School District have lots of opportunities and choices when they sign up for activities and camps through Community Education.

Katie Pepin, Community Education Director, says there are so many different things to do, there really is something for everyone.

Pepin says kids not only enjoy summer activities but it’s a great way to stay connected with their friends.

PEM Community Education offers both youth and adult classes

Signed my kid up for online math tutoring a while back and figured I would share what actually happens in practice rather than what the marketing pages say. The first session was a diagnostic, tutor spent it mapping out what my kid actually knew versus what the school assumed was covered, and the gaps were bigger than expected. That part was useful because it gave a realistic baseline instead of guessing. After each lesson there is a small set of practice tasks, nothing overwhelming, maybe fifteen minutes, but it does help the material stick between sessions. If anyone is comparing options, worth looking at https://brighterly.com/math-courses/ for how the format and personalized plans are structured. Progress in four to eight weeks…
