The National Weather Service in La Crosse is looking for storm spotters for the spring and summer severe weather season.
SKYWARN is a volunteer program that help keep their local communities safe by providing timely and accurate reports of severe weather to the NWS.
There will be in-person classes this spring as well as 4 virtual webinars.
Training will be in Lake City at the Lake City Public Safety Building on March 28th at 6:30 pm.
In Rochester the session will be held at Empire Event Center April 13th at 6:30 pm.
Winona County Historical Society will host a training session April 27th at 6:30 pm.
