Rachel Evangelisto, the reigning Miss Minnesota, is the first Native American to win Miss Minnesota, representing southeastern Minnesota as Miss Winona and she’s excited about the upcoming Miss America competition next month.
Rachel says she isn’t as nervous as she thought she might be and she’s ready to represent Minnesota.
Rachel says her social impact imitative, Celebrating Culture & Driving Diversity, is more timely than ever.
Rachel has been accepted to Mitchell Hamline Law School where she hopes to obtain a Juris Doctorate in Tribal Law.
The Miss America Pageant will be held December 15th.
