The free Friday night concert series in Wabasha sponsored by River Junctions Arts Council wraps up a week from tonight capping off a great series of shows that run from 7 pm – 8:30 pm in Heritage Park on Main Street West.
RJAC President, Jenn Rohrer, says it’s been a fantastic summer of music, food and fellowship.
Rohrer says attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blanket for seating, a few picnic tables are available. She says the weather has to be nasty to cancel the concerts.
Tonight, Soul Train plays 1970’s and 80’s funk and soul. Next Friday, it’s Maygen & the Birdwatcher.
The concerts are free but RJAC memberships and donations are appreciated to defray the cost of hiring musicians. Â
