Kellogg Fire Department 2024 Fireman of the Year

Matt Lewelenn was recently awarded the Kellogg Fire Department's 2024 Fireman of the Year.

This award is sponsored by Dave and Shelly Speedling, owners of SVJ Creative Designs and voted on only by fellow Kellogg Fire Department members, which currently has a roster of 27 members.

The Wabasha County Herald reports Matt has been with the department for 2 1/2 years and works for Feils Oil of Plainview.

Matt was presented with a concrete bench on May 13th by the Speedlings and Chief Jeff Tentis.

The bench contains an engraved solid bronze plaque, created by SVJ Creative Designs.
