Honoring Dakota Project is presenting several opportunities next week for the community to get involved in.
Monday, the 17th from 1- 4 pm you can help paint rocks at the Clay & Creative Center, which be sold at the upcoming Indigenous Art Market
Wednesday, July 19th, there will be an Indigenous Art Market with food and music in Central Park. Join in on the Art Walk at 3 pm from Central Park to Downtown to view the 800 4x4 canvases on display in storefronts. The artwork was created by Red Wing elementary students.
There will be a check presentarion at 6:45 pm in Central Park to celebrate their selection as a T-Mobile Hometown Grant winner followed by the free Concert inb thePark at 7 pm with Thomas X, Indigenous Hip Hop artist.
Engagements continue in Bay Point Park beginning Thursday, July 20th, through Saturday, July 22, including a Tipi community art project.
