Highway 61Welch Township and Hastings

Minnesota Department of Transportation Crews will begin work on the Highway 316 improvement project between the south junction of Highway 61 in Welch Township and Tuttle Drive in Hastings on Monday, April 28th.

Work begins at 6 am Monday and is expected to be completed in early June.

Hwy 316 will be closed in both directions between 200th St. and the south junction of Hwy 61 in Welch Township. Detour Hwy 316 to Hwy 61.

In early June through mid-July Hwy 316 will be closed in both directions between Nicolai Ave. and 200th St.

The purpose of this project is to repave the road for a smoother surface, improve safety by adding several turn lanes in Ravenna Township, and improving drainage on the north end of the project near Tuttle Drive.

MnDOT will add left turn lanes at Oxley Ave., Bauer Circle and Pine Ridge Road.
