Highway 61 and Highway 42 RCI Completed

Construction is complete for the Reduced Conflict Intersection (RCI) at Highway 61 and Highway 42 near Kellogg.

The RCI is part of the project includes resurfacing 27 miles of southbound Highway 61 from Wabasha to Minnesota City, improving seven bridges and making enhancements in Weaver.

All work is expected to be complete at the end of October.

Motorists will still see lane closures and changes along Highway 61.

Please be alert to the posted speed limits in the work zones, as well as any bicyclists along the Mississippi River Trail.
