High Plains Backup Generator

High Plains Cooperative completed the installation and testing of a backup generator at its Cenex convenience store in Plainview. 

CEO and general manager Keith Holm says installing this generator will allow them to continue operations of selling gas and other essential items at the C-Store when the city has lost power.  

The Plainview News reports the Cooperative took this initiative to ensure that residents and emergency responders would be able to continue uninterrupted operations in an extended electrical outage.
