The community is invited to join the Goodhue County Historical Society Saturday from noon to 3 pm in the park behind the History Center for a Free Family Fun Day.
“Quilts, Cures, Cannon, and More” with the Second Minnesota Battery of Light Artillery will be going on. Come visit stations to explore what life was like for soldiers in camp during the Civil War, view a quilt show, and watch the soldiers fire a cannon.
Then head inside the museum to cool off with ice cream, a Fourth of July craft, and a scavenger hunt.
