Free Summer School Meals Program

The Summer Food Service Program is designed to fill the nutrition gap during the summer months and to ensure children have access to healthy meals even when school is not in session. 

The districts participating are Cannon Falls, Zumbrota-Mazeppa, and Red Wing.

These meals are offered at various sites like schools, parks, and community centers, and no registration is required.

 Some sites have paid meals for adults as well, including Zumbrota-Mazeppa.

Red Wing Public Schools is serving breakfast weekdays from 8-9 am and lunch from 11 am-12:30 pm through Thursday, August 28 at Twin Bluff Middle School.

Breakfast from 7:45 am – 8:30 am and lunch from 11:30 am-12:15 pm is served at Red Wing High School during summer school. Meals are available Monday through Friday through Friday, June 27th and Monday through Thursday from Monday, July 7th to Thursday, August 7th.

In Cannon Falls, breakfast is served weekdays from 8- 9 am and lunch from 11 am- noon in the Cannon Falls Middle Schhol High School cafeteria through Wednesday, August 20th.

Zumbrota-Mazeppa Public Schools will provide breakfast weekdays through August 22nd from 7:30 am- 8:30 am and lunch from 11-12:15 pm.
