A relatively new non-profit based in Ellsworth is holding a unique fundraiser this weekend in the Drewiske Barn at the Pierce County Fairgrounds.
Mandy Fleming, Founder & Board President of Elsie's Barnyard, whose mission is to restore and strengthen the hearts, minds, and souls of children and families facing adverse medical conditions through interacting with animals and nature, says Sunday, June 2nd from 2-5 pm they are having an Uptown Animals Fundraiser (an animal fashion show) and more.
Tickets are just $12 for the event that will feature a petting zoo, a silent auction, animal demonstrations, photo booth, food, and more. Fleming says funds raised will help them provide all their services for free, including peer support groups for teens & young adults, field trips, and visits to the barnyard.
Silent Auction items to bid on include donations from Ellsworth County Club, Red Wing Shoes, Lark Toys, Minnesota Twins, Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Packers, Sheldon Theatre, and many, many more.
