Downtown parking rules and enforcement in Red Wing have changed in the last year.
Here's a recap:
You'll need a parking permit to park overnight in downtown lots and ramps (namely, between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m.).
Enforcement is currently on pause until Monday, March 16, to provide people more time to purchase a permit.
Daily, weekly, monthly, and annual options are available.
No on-street parking is allowed overnight in the downtown core.
Most daytime parking downtown is 3 hours. Free longer-term parking (except between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m.) is allowed in ramps and most lots.
You can visit the City’s parking page, https://www.redwingmn.gov/1135/Parking for more information.
