The City of Plainview buys and uses local materials and products as often as they can.
Mayor Aaron Luckstein explains that is always the first choice and they have a little wiggle room as far as cost goes.
Luckstein says they use good judgement on how they are spending taxpayers money when considering purchasing and quality and transparency are important.
