The Red Wing community will be able to listen to Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison for a community forum Saturday morning as he discusses his work to protect the rights and freedoms of the people of Minnesota.

Ellison will be at the Twin Bluff Middle School Auditorium at 11 am. Doors open at 10:30 a.m.

At the forum, you will hear from Attorney General Ellison about what he’s doing to defend Minnesotans from federal attacks on citizenship, privacy, funding, immigrants, LGBTQ+ people, abortion rights, and more — and what you can do to stand up for your community as well.

You will also be able to share your story, pass along your concerns for the future, or just learn from others in your community.

The event is sponsored by the Red Wing High School Black Student Union, League of Women Voters of Red Wing, Fair Trade Books, American Association of University Women of Red Wing and the Southeast Minnesota Area Labor Council.

Ellison was scheduled to speak at the Red Wing High School for Black History Month in February but it was cancelled by the district due to “concerns over significant disruptions.”
