Annual ‘Feed A Farmer’ PEM FFA

The PEM FFA showed appreciation for local farmers on Friday, October 24 by serving a total of 70 lunches to hard-working farmers as they stopped by Doane Grain in Plainview and Ag Partners in Elgin during the annual ‘Feed A Farmer’ event.

The Plainview News reports local farmers were provided with ham or turkey sandwiches, chips, a cookie, and water.

The chapter picked up the tab as Bennett's Food Center made the meals for the guys in the ­ fields.

Through this long-standing tradition, PEM FFA continues to recognize the dedication and hard work of local farmers who keep our community - and the nation - fed.
