Wabasha is hosting the 24th annual Dick Hiley St. Jude Bass Classic this week which kicks off Thursday.
Tournament anglers will enjoy two full days of fishing on the Mississippi River, live weigh-ins on Saturday and Sunday and a celebratory dinner banquet on Saturday night, featuring a local St. Jude patient family.
Anglers also have the opportunity to compete for the first place prize of $20,000 (with qualifying fundraising).
Over the past 23 years, this tournament has raised more than $5 million for the kids of St. Jude. All proceeds from this event will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food.
