The president of the Universities of Wisconsin Board of Regents will be the keynote speaker at this year’s University of Wisconsin-River Falls spring commencement on Saturday, May 4th.

Karen Walsh, Regents president since 2022 and a BOR member since her appointment in 2019, will address attendees of the three graduation ceremonies at Page Arena in the Falcon Center.

A total of 704 students are scheduled to graduate. Of those, 618 will receive their bachelor’s degree, 84 their master’s degree and two their associate degree.

Graduation this year also will include three ceremonies, one for each of the university’s three colleges: the College of Education, Business and Allied Health, along with Graduate Studies, is at 8:30 a.m.; the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences at noon; and the College of Arts and Sciences at 3:30 p.m.
Commencement ceremonies will also be available via livestream.
