A 34-year old Red Wing woman suffered life threatening injuries after the vehicle she was driving ran into a semi-truck Monday afternoon approximately 3 miles south of Farmington.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a little before 12:30 pm Jessica Nicole Patterson of Red Wing was driving east on 240th Street and went through a stop sign colliding with the semi-truck in the intersection of Hwy. 3, hitting the trucks gas tank.
28-year-old Alfaro Hisundy, a passenger in Patterson’s vehicle was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
37-year-old Christopher Todd Carlson of Fredericktown, MO was driving the semi and was not injured in the accident.
Everyone was wearing seatbelts and alcohol was not a factor in the collision.
