Red Wing Ignite is a non-profit organization that was founded by the community of Red Wing in 2013, with the support of local foundations and the City of Red Wing.
Executive Director Stacy Nimmo says they consider themselves an innovation hub. She says they fuel economic development by working with key sectors of the community to spur innovation by supporting entrepreneurs, businesses, and students.
Nimmo says they have a unique “Makerspace” at Minnesota State College Southeast.
