The Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call Thursday around 9:15 am in reference to a flipped over vehicle in the Zumbro River on North County Road in Wabasha County.
Officers responded and located a vehicle upside down in the river just off the river embankment and found deceased male occupant, identified as 62-year old James Steiner of Alma, Wisconsin.
The Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office says further investigation is ongoing.
