Local community members recently came together for this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s®- River Cities on Sept. 20 at Colvill Park.

176 walkers, donors and sponsors raised more than $38,985 to support the Alzheimer’s Association’s classes and resources for local families, and advance dementia research.

Deer Crest Cruisers was the top fundraising team at this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s, raising more than $6,440. This team of twelve says “We’re Alz In” and they did just that. They beat their goal by 215%.

Donations of any amount are continuing to be accepted for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s River Cities until Dec. 31, 2025.

The Association relies on these funds to provide its critical programs for families in the community.
