Wabasha Street Improvement Project

Rochester Sand and Gravel completed pavement reclamation and milling last week in Wabasha, part of this year’s street improvement project.  

Asphalt paving on all streets with the exception of Skyline Drive and Buena Vista Drive which is currently planned for the end of this week.

The driveway work along Skyline Drive was expected to begin yesterday and now through Monday, October 20th, access to those driveways will be limited, especially for concrete driveways to allow time for the concrete to cure.

During this time, residents will be allowed to park their vehicles along the northwest side of the Skyline Drive, adjacent to the golf course.

Culvert replacement work along Skyline Drive and Buena Vista drive is currently expected to being on Wednesday, October 22nd and completed by October 23rd.

During culvert replacement, temporary bypass roads will be constructed to allow traffic to continue to travel along those streets.

If the culvert installation schedule is met, then paving on those two streets is expected to occur on Friday, October 24^th, depending on weather.
