Scammers have gotten even more clever in the past year or two, with the ability to pose as government agencies, companies, or organizations promising a variety of ways to offer aid that end up costing the victim money.
Sheriff Rodney Bartsh & Chief Deputy Jim Warren from the Wabasha County Sheriff's Office will be doing a Scam Presentation on Thursday, June 6th from 6-7:30 pm at Faith Lutheran Church in Wabasha, 905 Hiawatha Drive East.
There is no charge for this event, co-hosted by St. Felix and Faith Lutheran Churches, and everyone of all ages are welcome.
